Our client is not an oil & gas company. In fact, their business is not related to the oil and gas industry in any way and someone from the oil and gas industry would not be a good fit for them or this role.

But they have been in business over 60 years and are still owned by the same family. The Houston plant is one of 3 manufacturing plants that make up this medium sized company. All of their manufacturing is done in the US. Their business is experiencing rapid and continuous growth. In fact they recently expanded their plants in Houston and Phoenix. And get this…the company has never had an employee layoff in their entire + 60 year history! Since they are a medium sized company, they have a great employee centric, family style work culture. In fact, it would not be unusual for the owner of the company to give you his cell phone number or for you to get a call from him just to check on you and see how you’re doing.

The Process Engineer we’re looking for will have a BS – Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical)…Chemical or Civil Engineering degrees would not be a good fit, with + 3 yrs manufacturing experience in process improvement. Preferred Process Engineering experience with a continuous mfg process (not chemical or oil/gas productions). CAPEX experience is a plus.

Salary range is in the upper $80’s to upper $90’s to low $100’s for a well qualified candidate. (Client will not sponsor a US work visa).
