PROCESS ENGINEER – Plastic Injection Molding
North Little Rock, AR
Our client is a very well established Global Mfg Company and their Central Arkansas plant is growing. In this role, you’ll interact with colleagues around the globe and have international exposure. Due to their size and global reach, there are ample opportunities for career advancement and climb the technical career ladder. No need to wait for someone to retire.
Their Arkansas plant has a great work culture and very low employee turnover. You’ll learn from and work with a team of experienced engineers. This is not a “do everything” type of Process Engineering job. In this job, you’ll be tasked with improving the mfg process, improving product flow and improving efficiencies. 80% of their equipment is less than 3 yrs old and they are adding robotics and automation.
We’re looking for an experience (+5 yrs or more) Process Engineer with Plastic Injection Molding experience. (We’re NOT looking for a tooling engineer). We’re looking for someone who is hands on, likes to be on the production floor where the action is, not spending all day drawing pictures on a computer screen. We want someone who is self-motivated and career minded and who is familiar with Scientific Mold Principles. A BS degree in Engineering is preferred but not required for an experienced Plastic Injection Molding Process Engineer.
Starting base salary can be in the $6 figures for the right person. Company provided benefits include group health care insurance and 401k plan that matches 50 cents on the dollar up to 15% of your pay. Relocation assistance is available. The client is not willing to sponsor a US work visa.
