Salary range is $80 – 90k DOE

Our client is a privately owned medium sized manufacturing company that was established in 1986. They are headquartered in WI but have 2 additional manufacturing plants in Ohio and the UK. Being a smaller company, they have an incredible team based, family-oriented work culture that you typically won’t find in a large corporate environment. For example, among the benefits you’ll enjoy, you and your family will have access to the company’s on premises clinic and full time Nurse Practitioner. And they are located in a medium sized community in a beautiful area right on the western shores of Lake Michigan, with great schools and a higher quality of life than you’ll usually find in a large metropolitan area. However, Green Bay and Milwaukee are both a short drive away.

They have asked us to help them find their next Polymers Chemist for their corporate office and manufacturing plant of 250 people. In this role, you’ll report directly to the Chief Technology Officer. In this highly visible position, you’ll have a great deal of autonomy. You will work on a portfolio of development and other projects and follow projects though their entire life cycle from idea through verification and validation.

In this role you will need a minimum of a BS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Polymers, plus 1-3 years’ experience working in the polymer or compound industry, preferably rubber. Experience with compound formulation required. Experience with flame resistant materials a plus. Familiarity with polymer extrusion and compounding techniques.
