Are you ready to lead a dedicated team towards operational excellence? Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee their Tupelo, MS operations, driving safety, quality, and productivity to new heights. If you're passionate about fostering a culture of continuous improvement and achieving results, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

– Safety First: Ensure compliance with safety policies and rules, conduct pre-shift inspections, and promote a safe work environment through proactive measures and continuous improvement.
– Operational Excellence: Manage daily operations, including equipment maintenance, scheduling, and resource allocation, while driving efficiency and productivity improvements.
– Continuous Improvement: Analyze data, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to optimize performance and meet production targets.
– Team Leadership: Lead and develop employees in accordance with company values, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
– Quality Assurance: Conduct routine quality checks, ensuring adherence to quality standards and KPIs throughout the production process.
– Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to ensure seamless operations and achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications:

– Technical Proficiency:  Ability to understand production processes, track tooling and equipment, and accurately record data.
– Analytical Skills: Strong analytical ability with proficiency in presenting data visually to drive informed decision-making.
– Interpersonal Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
– Continuous Improvement: Background in lean manufacturing with experience implementing lean practices and facilitating kaizen events.
– Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree required; previous experience in the metals industry preferred.
