In this role, you will report directly to the Plant Manager as part of the plant’s Leadership Team. We know him well. (In fact, we placed him in one of his first Engineering roles out of college in the late ‘90’s). Over the years, we’ve built a close business relationship and friendship with him, so we’re personally committed to presenting him only the best of the best for this role.

The person we’re looking for will have at least 10 years of proven results in materials, production control, inventory control, Supermarket, material flow, and Kanbanning. We’re looking for someone who has a strong background in Lean Mfg. and continuous improvement as a Supply Chain professional in manufacturing. Expertise in SAP is needed, as well as, kitting, JIT and PFEP. This individual must have demonstrated Management and Leadership experience of exempt salaried, non-exempt clerical and hourly material handlers. Materials Mgmt. / Supply Chain experience in a high volume / high mix mfg process is much preferred. A BS degree in Supply Chain or Business is required. A BS – Engineering is a plus.

We are NOT looking for a procurement / purchasing manager (that function reports to someone else). We are looking for a Materials Manager who has experience in Materials Flow and Inventory Control, as well as the other skills described above.

Base salary will be in the low to mid $100’s and the role is bonus eligible. Company provided benefits are great and relocation assistance is available. The client is not willing to sponsor a US work visa however.
