Our client is one of the world’s leading wood products manufacturers. They have asked us to conduct an exclusive search for a Dry End Superintendent to manage the Kilns and Planer departments of their highly automated and modern non-union lumber mill.
In this role you’ll lead a team of ~ 50 people. You’ll report directly the Mill Manager as part of the Plant’s Leadership / Management Team. We’re looking for someone with at least 3 or more years’ experience as Dry Side Manager in lumber manufacturing. Strong computer skills are needed, along with a demonstrated ability to develop, lead and coach a team. Knowledge and experience in planer setup / troubleshooting, lumber drying practices and QC / lumber grading processes also needed.
